New Learners

Mark is an experienced driving instructor who offers a friendly yet professional approach to learning to drive. We don’t teach candidates just to pass a test but to learn how to drive Using the most up to date teaching techniques while making learning enjoyable.

You will need to have a provisional licence before you start any lessons. You can find a link to the DVLA web site in licence Information with prices of the licence and other general information.

We design lessons around you we don’t just move forward on our time table but if we need to stay on one subject we do. This will help you to get through the lessons quickly and to feel that you can get from one point to another under your own instruction.

When you start lessons with Big Fish Driving School you will be given access to lesson plans that you can download and even print out. This can help you between your lessons in your private practise with a friend or family member and to get ready for future classes.

There are two parts to your test: theory and practical tests. You must pass your theory test before you can take you practical test. Pass marks and prices for both tests are on the driving test screen. We can loan you a theory test DVD to help with the test, and also do a mock practical test to show you what will happen on your test date.
